S&B Strategy advises HomeServe Germany on the acquisition of Latzel GmbH & Co. KG
Our team advised HomeServe Deutschland, a portfolio company of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners, on the acquisition of Latzel GmbH & Co. KG on the acquisition. The transaction was signed in December 2023.
HomeServe is one of the leading HVAC trade groups with a focus on private end customers and residential construction. With a presence in eight countries and a total of around 9,000 employees, HomeServe focuses on actively strengthening trade companies in the respective regions by bundling central functions. This allows the companies to concentrate on providing advice, installation and service in the HVAC and electrical trades. With this acquisition, HomeServe will expand its presence in the greater Hanover area.
Latzel Haustechnik is an established HVAC company with almost 70 employees that specialises in heating and sanitary installations as well as maintenance services with a focus on end customers. The takeover secures Latzel’s succession in the long term and at the same time lays the foundation for expansion in the greater Hanover area.
Our team supported HomeServe comprehensively as lead M&A advisor during the entire acquisition process up to the successful signing as well as with an operational due diligence.
