S&B Strategy advises HomeServe Germany on the acquisition of Raff Sanitär GmbH
Our team advised HomeServe Germany, a portfolio company of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners, on the acquisition of Raff Sanitär GmbH. The transaction was signed in August 2023.
HomeServe is one of the leading HVAC trade groups with a focus on private end customers and residential construction. With a presence in eight countries and a total of around 9,000 employees, HomeServe focuses on actively strengthening trade companies in the respective regions by bundling central functions. This allows the companies to concentrate on consulting, installation and service in the HVAC and electrical trades. With this acquisition, HomeServe will strengthen its presence in the greater Stuttgart area.
Raff Sanitär is an established HVAC company in the greater Stuttgart area with a focus on private end customers. By bundling plumbing, heating, air conditioning and PV installation as well as maintenance and service, Raff, with almost 50 employees, is able to offer its customers technically complex solutions and implement them successfully. By joining HomeServe Germany, Raff has also solved its succession issues in the long term.
Our team supported HomeServe comprehensively as lead M&A advisor throughout the entire acquisition process up to the successful signing as well as with operational due diligence.

With over 12 years of experience as a managing director, consultant and manager focussing on corporate and investor acquisitions, he is a proven expert in M&A – both for buy- and sell-side mandates. Patrick gained extensive experience in the deals division of PwC, on the management board of Hubert Burda Media and in the context of M&A and strategy projects for national and international clients in Europe and Asia. Patrick completed his Master’s degree in Business Administration at the Amsterdam Business School.
