Our team advised HomeServe Germany, a subsidiary of the international HomeServe PLC, on the acquisition of Barella Gebäude- und Energietechnik GmbH. The signing of the transaction took place in September 2022.

HomeServe is one of the leading HVAC trade groups with a focus on private end customers and residential construction. With a presence in eight countries and a total of around 9,000 employees, HomeServe focuses on actively strengthening trade companies in the respective regions by bundling central functions. This allows the companies to concentrate on consulting, installation and service in the HVAC and electrical trades. With this acquisition, HomeServe will expand its presence in the greater Soest area.

Patrick is a founding partner of S&B Strategy GmbH and is responsible for M&A.

With over 12 years of experience as a managing director, consultant and manager with a focus on corporate and investor acquisitions, he is a proven expert in M&A – both for buy- and sell-side mandates. Patrick gained extensive experience in the deals division of PwC, on the management board of Hubert Burda Media and in M&A and strategy projects for national and international clients in Europe and Asia. Patrick completed his Master’s degree in Business Administration at the Amsterdam Business School.

Maximilian holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Passau. He has several years of professional experience as founder of an FMCG retail company and at the Big-Four consultancies EY and PwC, as well as at a strategy boutique.
